the volume of a cone is 1/3 (area of base) X (height). If both the area of the base and the height are doubled, the volume of the new cone will be 4 times larger than the original cone. The ratio would be 1 to 4
Since you found this site, I assume you are interested in gaining a few extra inches of height.
