I actually had a form inside a div, that div have a background (rounded rectangle). I have problem to keep the height of the background, the movie is its perfect browsers.say 1024 px chrome but not shown fully in IE and Firefox. if I can optimize it to say, his not down for the other 2. and also after the form validation. while keeping the error messages. overflow that behind the image. he had given the level of height, min-height does not work. Please suggest some ideas to keep the height of div set after validation and all browsers .. thanks
You are, unfortunately, hitting the nail on the head:
's are interpreted differently in every browser engine, the worst being AppleWebKit (Chrome, Safari to name just two). It is the same for CSSs. Although
and CSS are highly recommended by the W3C, NO respect for the engines of the recommendations. If you want a "liquid design", ie a design that spans the width of the screen the same way in any resolution, and "looks and feels "the same in all browsers, time is at a very Hard! Although in the past 5 years I have designed" tableless "websites, for the divs, I had to scratch the idea never, ever worked properly in WebKit. Since Google Chrome arrived, and its popularity is growing, I had to Back to the tables … Again, the differences between engines forces me to use complex code to complete compatibility. Here's an example:
arguments do not work on ALL WebKit, especially "the position …" and the "overflow" and "relative" position is completely reliable and acts differently in all browsers! The other way is to do a "double call" tou your index page: The first call we get information browser and returns to the server, then download the "real" index file, which can dynamically adjust their code for each browser, but this is a problem with multiple browsers, and "they" think they're trying to do something behind her back … and alerts the user to "re-send the details" … It's too long to explain or list all the differences. The way forward? None, but that IE (Trident engine), FF (Gecko), Opera (Presto & Presto2) Chrome (WebKit), Safari (WebKit) and Konkeror (KHTML) installed on your machine and graphics card capable of dealing with the resolution 1440, then test place in all of them, resolution 800-1440. You will realize how difficult it can be! These cover all known browsers engines and 99.9% of users. Welcome to the world of browser incompatibilities! We should have let Microsoft maintain its monopoly and hopefully keep IE only! Good!

Since you found this site, I assume you are interested in gaining a few extra inches of height. Although (if you’re a mature adult) this may sound like a pipe dream, I assure you that it is easier than you think!
We’ve all been taught that height is mostly out of our control, that it’s largely determined by genetics. I’m here to tell you that there is more to the story. Of course our gene pool has a lot to do with ones height, but it is definitely not the only factor. Your state of emotion, your exercise regimen, the food you eat, and the hours you sleep are all factors in height determination. Click here to read the rest of the article: Free Height Enhancement
