Find the height of a triangle?

Equilateral triangle has a side length of 12 sqrt. Find the height. I tried to solve using area = bh / 2 formula .. haha did not work because we are missing two variables ..

Has the longest side c = √ 12 … just found my sign sqrt Distance the angle of the center (right above) is √ 12 / 2 this can be your (b) length so a ^ 2 + (√ 12 / 2) ^ 2 = √ 12 ^ 2 …. a ^ 2 + 12 / 4 = 12 … a ^ 2 = 12 -3 = 9 simple a = 3 so that its height = 3 (base * height) / 2 …. is now (√ 12 * 3) / 2 Now put the icing on the cake

Since you found this site, I assume you are interested in gaining a few extra inches of height. Although (if you’re a mature adult) this may sound like a pipe dream, I assure you that it is easier than you think!
