Height of the equilateral triangle with one side?
The side of an equilateral triangle is 8 cm. What is the height of the equilateral triangle? Show all work.
Let h = height of equilateral triangle in a triangle, the angle is 60 degrees, therefore, sin h = 60 / 8 and solving for "h" h = 8 sin * 60 h = 6.93 cm. Hope this helps.
