How accurate is a weight belt??
How accurate is the weight belt, when arriving by measuring how large is your horse in the belly? Height has much to do with weight. In humans, six foot tall slender person can weigh as much as an overweight person than 4 feet high. Her waist measures it differently though. Same applies to horses, right? so pretty inaccurate …? How do you know how much they are outside by? you should have used other means of measurement, in addition to the tape … a scale of horse? My weight is the tape around 5% to – I know because I've had my horses on the scales in the veterinary hospital. My vet was interested in tape I brought with me and we prove it in a couple of other horses, and every time he came within 5%. Therefore quite accurate and useful as a guide to changes weight.
