What is the suggested height to hang a 50 "plasma TV on the wall?

I'm moving into a new house and the wall is 9 feet high and about 11feet long. I'm not sure exactly configuaration furniture or cabinets around. I probably have a cabinet that is 2 feet tall. I have to meet the electrician to discuss the power of the place, and I have to be able to tell approximately where the electrical cable and output should go, so it is placed behind mounted TV … I do not want any cables to show just need to know if there is a standard height for mounting.

Eye level when seated in the center of the screen. Many people hung too high.
