Two column HTML table to CSS?

I have to replace a single cell HTML table with CSS.

The design looks like this: One | Two The content of each of the two cells must adapt to the top. Cells must extend to the width and height of the contents inside. The top of the table position should be relative to what is above it (not absolute position). I'm not sure how two cells instead using CSS. Can anyone help?
