How does an adjustable piston stool / work office chair?
Hello, Can anyone tell me or better yet, tell me a link shows how the piston in an office chair adjusts the height? I need it for my school course of product design. Thank you.
It is a cylinder gas has an internal piston that compresses a gas at higher pressure when weight is put on it. A friction clamp to keep the piston rod in a position of the selector is set high. A mild spring gives a little cushion when a person sits in the chair. If the chair is too low, a lever press clamp friction, allowing the piston up, raise the chair against the weight of the chair. If a person is sitting in the chair at that time, the pressure gas against the piston is not sufficient, and the chair falls.
