The Sorcerer's Apprentice is one of the very few movies domain dedicated exclusively to children. The Children are filled with the usual dose or rather an overdose of sex, dr * gs, vi0lence, crime dramas, and the saga of the most striking of the time. Disney Jerry Bruckheimer and another attempt to reach children's fiction in the fantasy genre.

The story begins with a background of magic back in the year 740 AD and then enters the world of David, an average New Yorker in 2000 AD who lives a fairly normal life with relationship problems, trying to reach an agreement with his car and a crush Becky huge. The normal rhythm of life is altered when he meets Blake Balthazar (Cage), a wizard who tells David that he is the witch next elected 'Prime Merlini. The rest of the movie is about an adult David, ten years after entering into relationship with the wizard wanted to be next.

The film is not one of the best in its class in safety. There are plenty of flaws, if you start counting. The weak script and characterization not leaves much, even for brilliant actors like Nicolas Cage and Alfred Molina to do, even irregular repair work. Humor deflates most of the time. Too predictable plot kills more. Magic tricks were a long way since he left with his mouth. Although Mill Cage and brightness in some parts as their characters. The other actors can barely tolerate decent performances.

The only saving grace has probably been the animation and special effects department has a fabulous job. The special effects and editing to keep up the narrative tension and prevent getting monotonous and slow. The film, unfortunately not enough to create any magic, but when put together.

With the series of Harry Potter as a highly successful predecessor match, The Sorcerer's Apprentice looks a below average effort. Even performers usually either a bad story Cage and Molina as to save the day. The only consolation however is the fact that Disney still believes in an effort to produce films for children innocent in this big bad world.

Here's hoping for a better attempt next time creators. Until then, the film serves aa good movie Case rented Sunday.
