family Christmas present – meeting table?

Our current dining set is more than 14 years of age. Solid glass table and six chairs. We have two children, aged between 10 and 15. Thinking of getting a counter height "session" table with chairs instead of the full dining table sizes. Anyone have any experience with them. I like the idea of a sheet to add more space when needed.

Hey, I like that idea! I've never had one, but if my children were home, I would do that!
