CSS width property not working automatically in IE, Help!?
I am creating a website and page is a small image that when clicked it has a lightbox effect. Originally, I was going to use a fixed width and height, but what I really wanted was to be automatically adjusted to suit screens of the people. So the picture itself is very well shown that this is only the use percentages. But the image in it, I gave a height of 98% and width of the car, they saw no way around resizing without being uncomfortable. Now this works in Firefox which is great. But in IE the width property Automatic does not work, so it ends with an image of high 98%, but as only one pixel wide. Is there a solution to this? Or do I have to assign a fixed height and width? The link to the site so far is … ~ Thanks http://online.dunstable.ac.uk/ oooaimeeooo/index2.html If that makes sense. However, 98% not working in IE and Firefox. Its characteristic width, which I set to auto does not. It works in Firefox but not IE.
Set the width and 98% or percent. The width percentage is the percentage of the peephole viewer, 1028 pixels, 1280 pixels, etc. less overhead for the browser. Frankly, forget about the height unless insists they should not move vertically. However, the percent set up to work the same as the width. Note that there are more up in the browser higher than the sides, which affect the display area.
