The Truth – Adsense Click fraud can not be stopped
Your reading this article, probably due to use Google AdWords to drive traffic to your site, or a fraudster, click on yourself, wanting to see what information I have for you. Most fraudsters click you think I have no idea what I'm talking about, and I do not know their methods. Well, trust me buddy, I know all about you and what you do.
If you're new in the click fraud scene, here's an example:
1. Scumbag puts Google Adsense ads on your website.
2. The bastard then proceeds to cheat Google Adsense by creating false impressions and clicks in return earning him a profit very nice, because even working on his website, just generating false traffic.
All of you people that run campaigns through Google Adwords are thinking, "This type has no idea what he's talking, Google has everything under control and that even the state in public! "
WOW! What kind of pay per click company admit that not having control click fraud? I wonder what would happen to business immediately after that statement.
Estimates say that about 20% of all clicks for Adsense are illegitimate. In my honest opinion I think this number is around 30-35% of some of the things I've seen.
Alrite, now the big question, how they are doing that?
There are a number of ways that people are cheating, including groups of the 'click' of India to click your ads for you and create big pay checks as she always pays her $ 0.50 an hour so they can buy bread for his family.
But I will show you the technical way that Google Adsense is cheated, not poor people clicking on ads. I'm talking about extremely smart programmers that create hitbots cheat Adsense. And no, I'm not talking about that piece of garbage 'CACA' or Clicking Agent that you find on Google. I'm talking about private programs and scripts that are only used by private groups.
How do these scripts away undetected you ask?
Simple, indeed we take a look to protect against click fraud Google (This is what I've outlined, I seriously do not think anything because the protection of others are deceiving using these methods as you read this article.)
If you really look at the Google Adsense code when it is on their website you find the URL that is used to retrieve ads. (Click Clck your ad Iframe and click on "View page info" or something similar.)
Here is an example of the direction you'll find:
http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/ads?client=ca-pub-252 1202633232871 & dt = 1124847235453 & Lmt = 1124631699 & format = 468×60_as & ou tput = html & url = http% 3A% 2F% 2F% 2Fwww.yoursite.com & color_bg = ECF8FF & co lor_text = 000000 & color_link = 0033FF & color_url = 0033FF & color_border daaaa = D & cc = 59 & u_h = 768 & u_w = 1024 & u_ah = 738 & u_aw = 1024 & u_cd = 32 & u_tz =- 240 & u_java = true
Now let's figure this out a bit, okay?
client = ca-pub-2521202633232871 – Your client code, this tells Google who to assign the click-through money.
dt = 1124847235453 – Javascript, if you use the command google_date = new Date (); document.write (google_date.getTime ()) — which generates 1124847235453.
This shows that the number of milliseconds since 1970 Midnite January 1. This is what appears to be Google's biggest automated proxy clicker fraud prevention. It does not seem too difficult to generate with 2 lines of code now does it?
LMT = 1124631699 – The last time that your website has been updated. Last Updated Time LMT means, Javascript very easy to generate this too – document.write (document.lastModified); — Generating 1124631699.
(Notice I'm skipping a lot, that's because they are just showing the type of ad, colors and size you are using.)
cc = 59 – seems to be a random number based on screen width, height, and color scheme. I've seen this number ranging from 20 all the way to 400. I'm sure you do not use this issue of click fraud reliably.
u_h = 768 – Height of the display settings.
u_w = 1024 – Width of the display settings.
u_ah = 738 – Your available screen height.
u_aw = 1024 – Your available screen width.
u_cd = 32 – Color scheme on windows, for example, 32-bit.
u_tz =- 240 – Your monitor refresh rate or anything else that is not important, I've never seen it not -240.
u_java = true – Just seeing if you have Java enabled.
There are some other variables that are sometimes in the direction as "u_his = 'This means how many pages you have visited since starting the browser. There are also some MIME type checks and how many allowances you have installed, but these variables come up very rarely. I think we are only meant for Netscape / Firefox.
Now that we have "cracked" the case unbeatable Google Adsense code, what do you think about click fraud? I still think is weird?
After randomizing all data and sending an automated file of the query to your Adsense URL, all the scum have to do is analyze all of Google, click on the URL and click on one of them, giving it a click. All this can be easily forged, with even a Visual Basic program. A novice programmer could in-fact cheat Google Adsense without much knowledge.
Alrite you say, beaten and javascript code detection but does not Google use cookies so that you can not do this?
No, Google does not use cookies for Adsense.
Well what about IP tracking? Someone who can not have that much power!
There are groups out, click these programs are running on your computer. Each one of them at random from each one, click URL automatically. The person running the program does not even have to do anything, but still contribute to the success of his group and himself.
Sound too unbelievable? I'm saying that there are groups, click that do this now and have been since the old Linkshare PPC days in 1999. Yes, if you were an advertiser on Linkshare back around 1999-2002, she was raped.
And that's not all. I have read on the Internet that there are now over 100,000 people living in the United States alone with trojan proxy servers. These proxy servers run on random ports so that Google can not do a simple port 8080 or 80 check on it to see if a proxy. Most of these proxy servers are used for credit card fraud, but many are also used to cheat Google Adsense and other pay-per-click programs. These powers are in the home users that look like normal dial-up, cable and DSL users from around the world, but mainly the United States. There is no way to prove that are a proxy.
Random User Agent strings is another tactic often used by fraudsters, click. This makes Google think that many of the different browsers are clicking on links, just keep them away from finding the truth.
On a side note, you may be thinking that the new Yahoo! pay per click program can be the way forward. I checked into their protection and guess what? They are only using one of the protections of Google and is the GetTime Javascript. They're still in beta, and although this may change, but who knows?
To the cheaters: The benefits of cheating are short. Eventually, you may be caught for what they are doing and maybe even sued by Google. There is a ton of money to be made legally with Adsense and I suggest you stop cheating. Who am I to tell you to stop? I use to be one of you! When I was 13-14 I was doing programs like that you are using now. You probably used one of my programs at once. I am happy to say that the days of the mines are all in the past, and I'm doing a lot of money legally with Adsense and other affiliate programs. Work hard and reap the benefits 100 times what they do cheat.
For advertisers: You that use Google Adwords now we see that there is really very difficult to cheat them out of their money, so be careful and be sure to use a script, click fraud protection as ClickDefense. To lower most of click fraud, but do not place their ads on the Content Network, only stay in the sponsored search results Google. Google only pay when someone clicks on the search results sponsored ads and nobody wants to fool Google to make more money right? Check population, currently at 279.58 a share.
To summarize my article I just want to say that nobody should use this information for cheating Adsense and I am not responsible for their actions if you choose. You will be caught because Google will evolve and become more intelligent over time.
