Can anyone help me with this math?
I do not understand how to make this problem and was wondering if someone could help me. Ha made a model of the Space Needle in Seattle, Washington, a report on the architecture in the U.S. We used a scale of 1 to 50 feet. Their model is 12.1 inches high. Estimating the actual height of the Space Needle. Any help is appreciated.
Use a proportion. 1 / 50 = 12.1 / x Cross multiply. 1x = 50×12.1 x = 605 feet. That should be about right.
