Fantasy off-road tire size problem? What is the closest size?
I get the size of a tire fancy car: 538/53R20 This size does not seem to exist … What is my closest substitute, and when I'd be able to find it? I understand their difficulty. The truth is we need to find a custom manufacturer of tires for you it is almost impossible unless you plan to buy a lot of the wheel of his fancy. The closest I bought a Dunlop SP Maxx or Sports Groundtrek WP 3. These have a height profile of 45 to edge 20. Any tire size bigger than that is hard to find. I have not checked, but I also have tires a height of 50 for their series Grandtrek. Try searching ST8000, PT 9000 or SP Sport 9000. Since you found this site, I assume you are interested in gaining a few extra inches of height. Although (if you’re a mature adult) this may sound like a pipe dream, I assure you that it is easier than you think!
