Lift LCD TV wall mount?
I installed a wall mount for my LCD TV, however, whether our measurements and calculations are correct, because television is a bit low for my taste. I was able to adjust the height on the rails connected to the TV to compensate and it looks good, but the idea that assembly errors itself is a little beneath me. Would I be able to remove mounting the wall and rises from 6 to 12 inches? It is screwed to the studs with four lag screws thickness. Is there any possibility of damage to the wall studs if I get lag screws into the holes again?
I also have to move the outlet hole and cables. I would let it alone.
Since you found this site, I assume you are interested in gaining a few extra inches of height. Although (if you’re a mature adult) this may sound like a pipe dream, I assure you that it is easier than you think! We’ve all been taught that height is mostly out of our control, that it’s largely determined by genetics. I’m here to tell you that there is more to the story. Of course our gene pool has a lot to do with ones height, but it is definitely not the only factor.
