Wave energy, or an unlimited resource disaster looming?

PG & E in California today announced it is purchasing power from generators energy of the waves. Basically, by exploiting the differences in vertical waves, these generators to extract energy and transform it into electricity. My question is, by removing the energy of the Act as shock absorbers and generators could reduce wave heights. Does this have effects on differences in the tides and therefore the center of gravity of the Earth? That affect the gravitational interaction between the moon and us? I have similar questions regarding large scale affecting local wind energy / global time.

No, would have little or no difference. The percentage of energy that is extracted is too small and insignificant to make a difference. This is something like the effect of an error being beaten by the windshield of a fast car with the effect of slowing the vehicle. It is too as insignificant. The same goes for wind machines on a large scale affecting the global climate. The energy extracted is small to measure compared with that power is available.
